Many internationals live and/or work in the inner city, with a host of skills and talents and a strong motivation to be involved in the community. However it’s not always easy finding one’s way – where to start, where will I be welcome, what about the language barrier?
At the same time there are plenty of initiatives eager for international volunteers and lots of community events eager for international guests.
To bridge the gap, an Active Internationals group was set up in October 2025. Join the app group to receive invitations for monthly meetings and hear about volunteering opportunities. A Notion online community hub is on the way.
